Easter Break

It's Easter break!

The holidays granted by universities for Easter break vary from one uni to another in here, for example, while my holiday is 3 weeks, my friend on the other hand who is a 1st year law student as well, however in another uni, has been given 5 weeks for this holiday.

I don't mind though, 'cause I'll be making my easter holiday 4 weeks =P.

How
you ask? Simple. Just skip one week after the end of the holiday.

More importantly, I noticed most of my friends studying abroad will be going back to Oman for the Easter break, even though they've been back to Oman for the Christmas holiday. As for me, I won't, instead I'll be heading to Canada, where my cousin and a few of my friends live/study. But even if I hadn't planned to go to Canada, I still wouldn't have gone back to Oman.

Why
you ask?
Just like everyone else, yes I miss my home country, the warm (probably hot by now) weather, and so on. But it's only been 8 weeks since I last visited home (during the Christmas holiday), and going back so soon will make me feel like I never really experienced the being-away-from-home experience that by which i can gain independence. Even if I went back to Oman during this holiday, my parents wouldn't have missed me, instead i'd be getting a 'eh? why are you back so soon? did something happen in uni?' reaction from them.

Other than traveling, I'd love to do some catching-up on my studies (that's about 500 pages of reading by now) and play Devil may cry 4, a game I've been craving to play but haven't gotten the chance to.

What have I been busy with you ask? Nothing serious really, just sleeping and watching lots of j-drama. Oh and I cleaned some plates today as well, hah. If I just do my laundry, I will have made today a productive day (something I don't experience much).

Anyways! enjoy your Easter break, atleast thirteen minutes of it.
